Italian

Proficiency: Intermediate (B1)

So here me out; I’m not going to claim any level of fluency in Italian. I think the total amount of time that I have dedicated to it is a matter of hours. However, I can almost completely understand the language when I listen to it. I can read almost any Italian text and understand it.

All that I need to become fluent in Italian is probably about a month of dedicated studying, which follows my theory that when one learns one foreign language, it becomes easier to learn the next. So, because I have become fluent in 3 other Latin languages and have dabbled in 3 non-Latin languages before approaching Italian, the whole process of learning this language is just as easy for me as memorizing a grocery list.

If anyone is interested in testing this theory of mine, please feel free to reach out in the Contact form.
